I am now sewing quilts! I'm making my mom a twin sized quilt with 2 pillow cases in the same fabric.
Also, I have patterns/classes on Purses, Wallets, Clutch, Accessories and I think after I do that I can make a bible cover if for some reason I have enough strips left over.
I have another class on how to sew baskets/organizers for the fabrics there really cute, but the interphasing is extremly pricey I'm going to reaserch another equivalent maybe that I can use instead of that.
I have almost all my materials, minus, vinyl and some interfacing & stabilizer fabric.
Please note: If your going to quilt, do so because you LOVE IT, not to make a profit on it. I have a quilt TOP for my bed, its a queen in batik fabrics, its absolutely stunning it was around 45% off give or take, if you were to sell it made, it would cost about the same as I paid for it on sale! Unless you are buying whole sale quilting fabrics & quilting like... say... 5-10 of the same exact blanket/quilt or whatever, then its useless to try to make money of it. IN MY OPINION! It takes hours and hours, the supplies you need get them ON SALE!
If you sew, craft or whatever, it will cost a ton, so i get everything on close outs. I sew because, I love it not because it's "cheaper." If you want cheep seriously go to any name brand store, try a semi-annual sale, and find a coupon ontop of the sale, and you can get it for the same price as the fabric normally!!
Ok well... Pictures when I get the stuff done I guess.
1- Mom's twin blanket & pillow cases I'm trying to finish in 2 weeks but it is a lot of work! I might not make it in time!
2- Wallet: Almost have all the interfacing I need for it. The fabric fat quarters came in, need metallic gold vinyl
3- Purse: I need to read the directions its very confusing at the moment, so I need to find out what interfacing and supplies I need.
4- Tote bag: Same as the purse instructions
5- Clutch: I think I have everything I need for that pattern
6- Sewing Baskets: Need to find equivelent option
7: Multi pocket basket/tote for supplies: same as the baskets
8- My quilt for my bed: Starting that in August/September of this year.
